What is Covered

Many insurance companies cover the cost of 6 lactation consults. Our partnership with The Lactation Network helps us work with your insurance to provide in-home, or telehealth appointments, and handles the paperwork and bills your insurance directly. Visits are typically covered through the following insurances: Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Cigna PPO, Anthem PPO, United Healthcare, VA CCN, Multiplan, PNOA, and UHC.

For visits NOT covered by insurance, the following rates apply:

In home initial consult (75-90 minute visit): $275

Home follow-up consult (45-60 minutes): $225

Virtual telehealth initial consult (75-90 minutes): $200

Virtual telehealth follow-up consult (45-60 minutes): $150

Virtual Prenatal Class (75 minutes): $150 if private, $100 each for you and a friend

Back to work or Pumping Consult: (45 minutes): $125

In home Twins initial consult: $350

In home Twins follow-up consult: $275

Home Travel Fees:

Extra miles: Beyond a 30 minute drive from Newtown, CT, additional travel charges will apply.

Accepted forms of payment include Cash, Check, or Venmo. Non-insurance covered payment is expected at the time of service.
