Fees, Coverage & Payment Options

Many insurance plans cover 3 to 6 lactation consultations at no cost to you. Through our partnerships with The Lactation Network and Wildflower Health, we’re able to provide in-home or telehealth appointments across Connecticut — and we handle all paperwork and billing directly with your insurance provider.

Coverage is often available through the following plans:

Cigna PPO, Anthem PPO, United Healthcare, VA CCN, Multiplan, PNOA, and others.

For visits NOT covered by insurance, the following rates apply:

In home initial consult (90-120 minute visit): $275

Home follow-up consult (60-90 minutes): $225

Virtual telehealth initial consult (60-90 minutes): $200

Virtual telehealth follow-up consult (45-60 minutes): $150

In home Prenatal Class (75-90 minutes): $150 if private, $100 each for you and a friend

Back to work or Pumping Consult: (45 minutes): $125

In home Twins initial consult: $350

In home Twins follow-up consult: $275

Home Travel Fees:

Extra miles: Beyond a 30 minute drive from Newtown, CT, additional travel charges will apply.

Accepted forms of payment include Cash, Check, or Venmo. Non-insurance covered payment is expected at the time of service.
